Update and new website

14-10-2008 22:40:41

Good people! It's been a while, hasn't? Hope you're all doing well. Guess some of you are wondering what's going on in the TAO camp, so here's a small update for you guys.

First of all, as you probably have noticed by now, we have a new webpage up and running. We started working on the page aprox. 1 year ago. Yep, that's right… how slow are we?! But no excuses, the page has been uploaded now and we hope you like it. We have had a tendency to neglect this page on account of our Myspace page, but that will change as of now, and both websites will have equal amount of focus.

So what's been going on since the last time? Well, we have been playing a couple of shows. It's been really great to get out there again and punish people!  The response has been really great and right now we are reheasrsing and really looking forward to our show at the Danish Metal Awards in November. We so much cannot wait to go there and slay people, play alongside Carcass and party with all our friends. It'll kick major ass for sure!

Other than that the other guys have been really busy with their respective bands Submission and Raunchy and recording new albums. Raunchys new album "Wasteland Discoteque" was released 3-4 months ago, while Submissions forthcoming album probably will be released in November. Both albums crush and you definitily need to check both albums out!

Some other good news is that we are working on new songs for our 3rd album, which will be recorded in Spring / Summer of 2009. Kasper Thomsen is, as always, inspired and already has 9-10 tentative songtitles and lyrics ready. Riff-wise things are progressing well but there is still a long, hard, but extremely interesting road ahead. We just can't wait to get to rehearse new songs a watch how they change and grow all the time! Style-wise it's a bit too early to say exactly what is going to happen. On "In The Wake of Collisions" we found our sound, and no doubt we will be progressing from that on our next record and be sure to deliver to you guys some inspired tracks of epic extremity!

And on a final note we have added a PayPal webshop to our site. Many, especially from the States, have asked where they could buy our records, and now you can get them directly from us, so start ordering, dammit! :-)

Cheers good people!

Midtjysk Metal Mayhem tomorrow

06-06-2008 11:41:35

We will be playing at Midtjysk Metal Mayhem in Silkeborg tomorrow. We will enter the stage at 18:50, so please be sure to get there in good time, if you want to catch us live.

The reason for the early spot is that singer Kasper Thomsens other band Raunchy will be playing later that evening in Århus at the Spot Festival, so in stead of co-headlining the "festival", we will end up opening along with Invisius. Other band to appear tomorrow are Mevadio, Last Mile (Feat. Jacob Bredahl, ex-Hatesphere), The Burning and Dawn of Demise.

Hope to see you there!
